NCD COMMITMENT

HPCN is an indigenous Nigerian Company and technical partners to two major Nigerain Oil and Gas drilling Services Companies,namely(a) First Marine Engineering Services and (b) Tasaniola Nigerian Limited. HPCN is currently with a total company workforce consists of 88% Nigerians with anticipation of driving it to at least 95% before the end 2025.HPCN has a well defined policy of promoting Nigerian Content Development for all of its operations and activities in Nigeria in addition to technology transfer.

LABOUR

HPCN is highly committed to promotion of its Nigerian workforce by encouraging training, both locally and through in-house training programs. This means that the workforce has an ongoing development and improvement strategies, which will basically be circulated in-country for use on future projects. Due to the training programs and all the in-field understudying adopted by the company for Nigerian personnel, the number of expatriate personnel is constantly reducing as our Nigerian personnel become ably equipped to take over some of the expatriates’ duties and responsibilities on our Projects.

RECRUITMENT

Rozdon Integrated Systems Limited and Trayden Transact International Limited are key Nigerian Human Resource companies that HPCN employ their services to carry out all our recruitment exercise as the need arises. All our recruitment processes are meant to give first consideration to Nigerians in accordance with the Nigerian Government policy and directives on labor resourcing.

MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT, SOURCING& SERVICE

HPCN ensures that all local materials and equipment that could be sorted in-country on its project are purchased in Nigerian through awards of Contracts to Nigerian Contractors or suppliers. More than 20 registered Nigerian Companies have been undertaking these tasks of material, equipment and supplies services for over a decade.

Though, in some cases, major equipment and materials can only be obtained abroad when it becomes inevitable as a result of unavailability in Nigeria but this is of minimum practice with HPCN.
